Rachel Kyte is Chair of the PIDG Ltd. HSES Committee. She is Dean of The Fletcher School at Tufts University. She served as Chief Executive Officer of Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), and Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Sustainable Energy for All.
Kyte is a member of the UN secretary-general’s high-level advisory group on climate action and an advisor to the UK government for the UN climate talks, COP26. Kyte is co-chair of the Voluntary Carbon Markets Integrity Initiative (VCMI), chair of the FONERWA and the Rwanda Green Fund. She advises not-for-profits, governments, and the private sector in climate, energy, and finance for sustainable development.
She was previously World Bank Vice President for Sustainable Development and was the International Finance Corporation Vice President for Business Advisory Services. She is the recipient of numerous awards for women’s leadership, climate action and sustainable development. She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Fletcher and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Politics from the University of London.
